Editing Expertise

Developmental Editing, Copyediting, and proofreading tailored to your manuscript. Working with your assigned editors who will work with you to refine & hone your manuscript.

Offering à la carte pricing ranges as well as package deals to give you an upfront general idea. Each project, just like each client, will be specifically quoted depending on the genre, page count, attention and work needed, and desired timeframe. Once we take a look at your manuscript we can give you a more accurate quote for the services you desire.                                                                                      

Editing Services

For editing we strongly recommend Developmental Editing come first, followed by Copy Editing and Proofreading. Developmental Editing (for poetry manuscripts only) will look at your whole manuscript as a single poem and offer a rearrangement of poems to an order that best works with your theme and body of work, as well as suggesting poems to cut or edit. Copy Editing & Proofreading will give your manuscript a thorough reading, proofing of your manuscript for typos, misspellings, grammatical errors and correcting or providing suggestions for best language.

Developmental Editing:
$55/hr — often approximately $400/manuscript, with larger manuscripts possibly up to $600). Once we take a look at your manuscript we can give you a more accurate quote based mostly on length. 

Copy Editing & Proofreading:
$55/hr — often approximately $400—$600. Once we take a look at your manuscript we can give you a more accurate quote based mostly on length.

Design & Formatting

Clean formatting, cover design, and promotional image creation for self-publishers. Complete professional pre-production set up for your book with a friendly, collaborative and personal touch for all clients.

Cover Design

Full Cover design & files (single file spread of front, back, and spine for paperbacks or dust covers for hardcovers.

Cover Rate Ranges
$400—$800. Range reflective of our usual & average concepts to more time intensive or advanced concepts, licensed images and effects). Custom cover designs (3 concepts, 3 revisions)

Interior file design & Formatting
$200—$600 (Print + eBook).
Print and eBook formatting.

Upload Assistance (Per platform):
$75 (1 hour). Assisting you with step-by-step support when submitting your files and fill in the required boxes & information necessary with printing services (ie. KDP, IngramSpark, Books.By).

Interior Design & Formatting
Interior files with beautiful, elegant layouts, margins and professional page numbering and section breaks, etc. Formatted to fit perfectly with whichever publishing (print or digital) you are seeking.
